FAQs:

What can therapy do for me?

Many people seek therapy when life feels overwhelming, stressful, or just “off balance.” At Latibule Counseling, we provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space to explore your feelings, understand what’s behind your struggles, and develop tools to feel more grounded and resilient.

We work with adults, adolescents, and children ages 5 and up, offering individual, couples, and family therapy. You can expect compassionate, professional, and confidential care designed to support your unique journey.

Insurance

Most major insurances and EAPs accepted. Fees can be discussed over the phone.

What is a Student Intern

A student intern is a counseling graduate in their final semester of a master’s program. They provide therapy under the close supervision of a licensed professional counselor, ensuring safe and effective care. Because they are still completing their training, sessions with a student intern are offered at a reduced fee.

What to expect on your first visit

It’s completely normal to feel a little nervous before your first therapy appointment. During this session, we’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, your personal history, and what you hope to achieve. Together, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan focused on your goals and discuss some of the strategies that might be helpful along the way.

What Is a Superbill?

A Superbill is a detailed receipt you can receive after a therapy session with an out-of-network counselor. You can submit it to your health insurance company to request reimbursement for your visit. If you’d like a Superbill, you can request one from your therapist, and we’ll provide it for you.

Do you offer sliding scale fees?

We understand that the full cost of therapy may not be possible for everyone, so we offer sliding scale fees for those who need financial assistance. Availability is limited, but spaces are open for those who qualify. Please call our office to inquire about sliding scale options and receive more information on how to access this support.
