What to expect on your first visit

The first therapy appointment can be nerve-racking, but I assure you it is normal. You will have an intake evaluation that will let me know what brought you to therapy, some of your personal history, and what you hope to get out of therapy. We will create a treatment plan that focuses on your goals and review some of the interventions that might be helpful. You may have all the forms completed before your appointment and bring them with you on our first meeting.

What Is a Superbill?

A Superbill is a receipt for a session with an out-of-network counselor allowing the patient to submit to their health insurance. A Superbill may be requested by a patient of a mental health professional.
